I’ve been serving my church and loving people from the 2nd row, piano side as a pastor’s wife for almost 50 years, and the stories just get better and better!
My journals keep me grounded and focused on maintaining a positive mindset. I am passionate about my relationship with Jesus Christ. Some may think life is a journey, but I believe serving Jesus and loving people is the best adventure EVER!
Since falling in love with Jesus and His word, I’ve always needed a place to retreat. Cultivating a place and time to read, journal, pray and dream has sustained me through the years. There were times when it was my 4-door 1965 Ford Galaxy, the prayer tower at SAGC, the end of the sofa, or a nearby park or garden. (For awhile it was the 1962 “Silver Bullet”.)
Now, I have my paisley chair! It’s been my retreat for several years and yes, the arms are getting a little worn and it has some coffee stains and a touch of highlighter pen from my studies. I trust you will find these collections from my journals, stories and studies encouraging.
